Why we collect your information
We use the answers you provide to review your free application, contact you about it and, if accepted, provide private matchmaking. Applications are reviewed by people. We do not make automated admission decisions. Applying is free and does not guarantee acceptance, introductions or marriage.
We collect information submitted in the application form, including contact details, age, location, languages, marriage and family circumstances, lifestyle, work, education, preferences and personal introduction. Please do not include unnecessary private information about other people.
Sensitive information and your choices
Some answers may reveal religious beliefs, cultural background or health information. We use this information only where you give the separate consent shown in the form. You may skip optional information.
Genotype information is optional, self-reported and not medically verified. You can apply without providing it. The form asks separately for permission to use genotype information and to share it confidentially with a prospective match for genotype-related compatibility. This permission does not allow public disclosure or sharing your whole profile. We seek your approval before sharing an identifiable profile for an introduction.
You can withdraw consent at any time by using the contact email above. We will stop the relevant future processing. Withdrawal does not undo processing or sharing that happened before it.
Who can access your information
Your information is accessible only to people authorised to administer Zarah Muslim Connect’s matchmaking service. At launch, authorised personnel access applicant information from Poland only.
We use Tally to host our forms. We may use WhatsApp for direct communication, Google Drive or spreadsheets to organise necessary service information, Calendly for private-coaching bookings and payment providers when payment is configured. Each provider receives only what it needs for its role.
We use ChatGPT only with genuinely anonymised information. Removing names or replacing them with reference numbers alone is not enough.
International sharing
A proposed match may live outside the EU, including Nigeria. Before an identifiable profile is shared, we ask for your approval and apply appropriate safeguards where required. Your approval is limited to the agreed profile and proposed introduction.
How long we keep information
We keep application information only as long as needed to review an application or provide the service. We delete detailed rejected or withdrawn applications and completed-service records when they are no longer needed, apart from the minimum information needed for a real legal obligation, complaint or essential consent or payment record. We also remove unnecessary working copies under our control. Providers may retain backup data for their normal deletion cycle.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing where that right applies. You can complain to the Polish data-protection authority, UODO, or another relevant EU authority. To make a request, use the contact email above. We may ask for reasonable proof of identity before responding.
Legal basis
We use ordinary application information to take the steps you ask for when applying and, if admitted, to provide the service. We rely on your explicit consent for special-category information such as religious beliefs, health information and optional genotype information. We may keep limited records where needed for legal obligations or an actual complaint or legal claim.
